I just finished up my audio slide show on the closing of San Francisco’s Eagle Tavern–a gay/leather bar in the SoMa district. This is my last journalism piece done for SFSU…ever. It feels pretty damn good to be done.
So, my Eagle Tavern story got picked up by the Bay Area’s bi-weekly local insert in…wait for it…THE NEW YORK TIMES. It is unclear whether it will be printed, but it is still on their website, which is pretty damn cool. LOOK AT IT!
