- Doug Hilsinger, bartender and music coordinator for the SF Eagle, embraces a patron after the bar’s final “last call” on Saturday, April 30th, 2011. To speed up the bar’s move out of the property on May 1st, the staff took down nearly all of the bar’s trademark decorations, revealing bare black walls. Using sidewalk chalk, patrons then covered the walls with memories and sentiments about their time in the Eagle.
